In Q4 2021, the top 5 news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Ecuador showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket saw fluctuating downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 1.6K downloads in the last week of September, it experienced a decline to just 10 downloads in mid-October. However, the app rebounded with a peak of 1.1K downloads by mid-December. Active users also varied, starting at 4.6K and peaking at around 6.9K in the week of December 20.

Twitter Lite had a relatively stable download rate. Downloads ranged from a low of 202 in early November to a high of 742 in mid-October. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 1.7K to 1.8K throughout the quarter.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar experienced significant fluctuations in downloads, starting at 974 in late September, dipping to as low as 13 in mid-October, and then rising again to 590 by mid-December.
